Information We Collect

When you create a Pikospace account, we collect:

• Account information — email address, display name, and profile data you provide.
• Room and save data — your rooms, placed furniture, backgrounds, and room settings.
• Marketplace activity — items you've purchased, listed, or sold in the Thrift Store.
• ZEN balance and transaction history — your current ZEN balance and records of ZEN purchases and spending.
• Premium status — whether you have an active Premium subscription.

Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. Pikospace never stores your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. We receive only a payment confirmation and your Stripe customer identifier.

We also collect standard technical data such as browser type, IP address, and session data via cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Our first-party feature-page analytics records the feature visited, calls to action, and signup events with timestamps. These event records do not contain your email, raw account ID, IP address, page query strings, or referrer. A one-way account-derived key prevents duplicate signup counts. Feature attribution saved in your browser is used for up to 30 days; unsent analytics events expire after one day.

How We Use Your Information

• To save and display your rooms, inventory, and purchases across sessions.
• To process payments and credit your account with ZEN or Premium status after a successful purchase.
• To improve and maintain the Pikospace platform, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of these terms.
• To generate a shareable public link for your room if you choose to share it.
• To send important account or service-related communications (we do not send marketing emails without your consent).

Cookies and Local Storage

Pikospace uses browser local storage and session cookies to keep you signed in, store your guest room progress, and remember preferences like music settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear local storage in your browser settings at any time, though this will reset any unsaved guest progress.

Third-Party Services

Pikospace uses the following third-party services that may process your data under their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — payment processing for ZEN purchases and Premium subscriptions. Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Firebase / Google — authentication and user account management.
• Replit — hosting and infrastructure.
• Analytics providers (if applicable) — aggregate, anonymized usage data to understand how the platform is used.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate Pikospace, or when required by law. If you share a room publicly, its visual content is visible to anyone with the link — no personal account details are exposed through shared room links.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention purposes. ZEN purchase records and payment history may be retained for tax and legal compliance.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to request account deletion, please contact us at [email protected].

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

Pikospace is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pikospace after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
